Wictec EL Unitised

Complete WICTEC 50EL façade units are prefabricated with glazings and Parapet units in the workshop.
The ready-made units are mounted on façade anchor aligned before at site.
Unit sizes: maximum up to 3.0m width and 3.5m height, without centre mullion up to 1.5m width. Installation of vent sash with clamping frame and window profiles of WICLINE series. Hinged doors of WICSTYLE series.

Profile technique:

• Main profiles with thermal break profiles of the WICTEC façade series.
• Extremely narrow sight lines
  - Split frame 65mm
  - Unsplit mullion 50mm
• 5mm vertical and horizontal expansion joint tolerances
• Surface mounted cover profiles from outside

Frame connecting technique:
Frame corners glued with extruded aluminium corner angles and secured by bolt. Notched mullion screwed with overlapping joint. Mitre joint of outer cover profiles.

Surface treatment of profiles:
Anodic treatment, powder and wet coating.

Glazings:
Glazing gaskets from the WICTEC series. Mitre cut at the unit frame corners, butt-joint at the mullion joints and glued with moulded EPDM gasket angles.
